The rapid price increases in Vancouver’s real estate market are highlighted in a new survey released by Royal LePage – and the numbers seem almost unreal.

The survey shows the average price of a Metro Vancouver two storey house jumped to 23.6 per cent in one year, to $1.42 million.

Detached bungalows increased by a whopping 25.7 per cent, to an average price of $1.12 million.

Condominium prices shot up 9.5 per cent to an average price of $487,300.
